Owner and Director of Pathways Forensic and Mental Health Services.
Dr. Jean Stanley, LPC-S, LSOTP-S, BCPC is Clinical Director of Pathways Forensic & Mental Health Services. She is a forensic mental health professional whose practice centers primarily on providing specialized mental health and assessment services to clients associated with the legal system, criminal and civil. Specifically, Dr. Stanley’s forensic practice involves application of psychological research, theory, and clinical practice to the legal/criminal justice system. These cases may represent a wide spectrum of legal proceedings ranging from assessment or treatment of criminal offenders before or after Federal or State prosecution, to counseling children caught in the throes of legal conflict between parents or other adults who won’t get along. In either case, the treatment needs of forensic clients can be as diverse as the cases themselves. In order to appropriately provide the treatment diversity required for forensic counseling, Dr. Stanley has purposefully acquired the necessary licensures, and completed specialized training and certification tracks that help her develop strategies for helping clients identify and overcome, or at least manage the challenges of the situation at hand.
